Manifesting Abundance – Magickal Living
| May 26, 2009 | 12:05 am

Are you a Working Witch? An Unemployed Witch? An Urban witch? A Disabled Witch? A Homemaker Witch? An SAHM Witch? Are you a mommyblogger, an expat, a political pundit or peace blogger?

No matter which witch, you are surely among the millions who are feeling threatened by the decline in the American Economy. Recession, bail outs, budgets. Even if your job is secure, the newspapers and television, the blogosphere and radio all pound you with the message of fear.

You are in danger!

Economic Collapse!

Unemployment at an all time high!

Here in Thorne’s World things are much the same as ever. Sure, the Tattoo Biz is down; sure, the GirlyBoi took both a cut in pay and a cut in hours, but nonetheless our needs are met. We have a roof over our heads, the power is still on and the internet bills get paid. (Hahaha!!) There are groceries in the pantry and meat in the freezer. I even got a new pair of shoes and a bubble wand for my birthday presents to myself today! (Shoes $13, bubble wand $2.50). What I want to write here, and for you, Constant Reader, is how I live a magickal lifestyle. What daily, weekly and seasonal things I do in my real life of magickal living.

witches bottles magic magick spellsI’ve been living the Magickal Life, or living a magickal lifestyle, (as I prefer to call it) for over 30 years now, so my purpose here is to simply share some bits of that with you all, not get into who did it first or best. Hell, I’ve probably forgotten more than I actually know, and I’d be hard pressed to tell you how I came by much of it; I am indeed an eclectic witch.

I have a number of Witches’ Bottles around my home. I love them. They are as attractive and artistic as I want them to be; some are meant to be seen and admired, others are hidden or even buried- but they all serve the purpose of protecting me and mine, and of course, my home. Read more »
