What in the world has Thornie been up too?? Life is full, but good. The bills are getting paid and even on time, and ya just can’t beat that for stress relief! I really wanted you all to meet my new baby. I know, I know… it’s not the latest flat screen lcd display, and it’s a heavy beast (about 50 pounds) but let me tell you, it rawks mah world! I love my friend, Brad. He has kept me in Macs for years now. We share the Maclove, you see. We have both been MacUsers since the dawn of Apple. In the last several years, Thornie’s finances haven’t quite been able to keep up with her love of the Mac, and my generous friend has passed his “old” Macs to me as he got new ones for himself. This one, he got in an auction deal or sale. It was previously used in movie productions and when he read the specs he knew it would be perfect for me. He knew, you see, that WoW had outgrown my last lil Mac with the recent expansion Wrath of the Lich King, and I hadn’t been able to play it with my GirlyBoi for about 6 months. It was rough, since we both enjoy playing together, to have our primary couples leisure activity (well… maybe not our primary one! Hehehe), unavailable to us. If she was playing, I couldn’t and vice versa. So anyway, Brad got a good deal on four of these and set one aside for me. What a doll, eh??

Athornia and Tammarr Enjoying a Romantic Picnic in Darnassus
Let me tell you, it hauls ass! Weeee! I love it. So, along with the rearranging and deep almost fall cleaning around here to accomodate our desks within ethernet cable reach of one another so we can share the modem and play together… that’s what we’ve been doing. Playing LOTS of WoW together. (Almost too much; my ass hurts!) Hahaha! I mean, we’ve been a little starved for it, so I guess we’ve been gluttons this past week. And of course, it’s taking time to do all the preferences and config and bookmarking and passwords on the new comp, so… I haven’t been blogging much or visiting either.
In fact, I sat down this morning to work, I’ve got writing to do for my daily feature Simply Green over at Blog On Smog, and then realized that it was time to do my monthly random linky post, so I thought I’d include a little “Catch-up” while I link up!!
