Hmmmm… Witches and bitches and lesbians, oh my!! Why is it, do you think, that the patriarchy, that so many men and even women cling to that sort of thinking? Why are they so afraid? How did a witch become a hag and the Horned One a devil? Is Hilary Clinton really the Anti-Christ?

Above is a closeup of a collaged wall sculpure I made a couple years ago. It’s covered with images that represent the feminine in many guises. I don’t think it requires much explanation, but the placement of the hag was no accident!

why is it that giving people health care turned into death panels? a woman in the home is controllable but an educated woman has power and the boys don’t like to share… maybe it has something to do with the pagans of old killin’ men to save the crops… maybe they just don’t want tv dinners, regardless i don’t see the matriarchy rising again anytime soon.
I bet Ree has art like this in a closet where no one sees. Please don’t tell me you think that Pat Robertson’s views represent the masses?

I too wonder why everyone is so afraid of the unafraid woman. Do we have to fight for our freedom every twenty years or so? In my opinion all religions are about subjugating and controlling the female. Is it any wonder I’m an atheist.

NaNoWriMo? What is this NaNoWriMO of which you speak? I just posted a story I’d like to enter in something, or submit somewhere, so do you have suggestions? I’m now using my virtually defunct blog for an editing in public place. Hardly anyone drops by anymore. I have grown rather dull since donating my brian to twitter.
That is a wonderful piece of art in addition to a profound statement. Come to think of it, that is what art is supposed to be. Women are the ancient source of life. Men couldn’t stand having that get out of control.
