Desert Blooms for Summer Stock Sunday

Hesperaloe Parviflora, Yucca Hesperia or False Yucca. I dug a chunk of one of my neighbor’s plants up 2 years ago. This is my first bloom. I love things that don’t require a lot of water and that still bloom. Summer…
Peace, out!

That is a very pretty flower…
It’s got such a vibrant warm color. Very pretty.
I agree – like your attitude – the flower is just right – lovely pink and looks full of juice!
I suck at raising flowers. I think I kill them more then they live, but those are pretty.
My yard is mostly naturalized or Zera-scaped–if it grows in shade and survives with very little water and no tending, it gets to survive. It is all about natural selection in my yard. That and a bad back.
An amazing bloom that was slow in blooming but so vibrant in its color:) Worth the wait.
