Came over from "This Eclectic Life". We don't see many scorpions around these parts...mostly skunks and possums. Trying to adjust to city life after living in a small town that did not even merit a traffic light. Besides you leave anything in the freezer too long and one of my in-laws would probably try to make dumplings with it. *ewww*

I popped over from Shellys. (-: Love the Scorpion story! I have a rattlesnake in my freezer!(-: It is cooling off also(-:
I didn't think of the kitchen tongs to pick it up with! I used my hands to shove its nasty stinky headless skin into a zip loc bag. I didn't want any chance of it wiggling out(-:
My brother will take the snake skin when he comes up this weekend. He plans to make a hat band out of it(-:

The first time I saw my first scorpion my second summer in the desert, I through on a pair of snow boots and smacked the life out of the intruder with a shovel.

My second encounter with a big "S" I was wearing a nighty (yes a see through one) and my snow boots. Walked right outside with the shower in hand and tossed the scorpion over the fence. I turn around to head back inside to see that I have an audience as my neighbors were entertaining.

Everytime there is a scorpion or camel spider, my boyfriend asks me if I'm gonna get the snow boots on. LOL

Wishing you a scent-sational day! And try to keep cool, I know its already 107 here in my end of the desert.
