I live in northeast Ohio and had one come up in my flower garden. I have no idea how. I was going to pull it out when I was weeding but it looked like such a healthy plant I left it to see what it was. It is about 4 feet tall and 5 feet wide. Nobody I asked had ever seen it before. Thanks to the internet I was able to identify it.

This is a lovely capture ... I've not seen this plant in bloom first-hand. Love the kitty relaxing in the previous post and the MARVELOUS monochrome image of TODAY ;--)
Thanks for visiting Small Reflections.
Hugs and blessings,

Beautiful!
Datura is my favorite desert flower. Please be careful with it.It can have a nasty side affect...
I had an experience (when I was young and dumb) with some juice made from the seeds that took away my vision for 2 days. I was soooo relieved on the third day when I could finally see, that I shall never forget the experience.
Bright Blessings
