I kinda like this one. I had a pretty busy day today so I didn’t actually have much time to prepare. I went through some photos on my laptop and came up with this one (These stumps will eventually be some sort of yard art/parrot perches) and thought it might do well as a monochromatic image. Since I don’t have any photo editing software on my lil ol’ mac titanium (yes- old!), I used an online image editor. It doesn’t have a greyscale option,so I used a filter called “old picture”. It really does look like an old photo, don’t you think? Thanks for stopping in and be sure to visit Monochrome Weekly for lots of mono photo links!
Peace, out!

Your software worked a treat – suits the image well. Stumps are always great subjects.
Luv this!
Interesting, I would have tried to get a sharper focus .. I had a G4 Titanium for 6 years never a days problem .. I miss it.
As always, we find beauty in the same things, sister :).
Nice picture. Lord knows we have many tree stumps and fallen joshua trees here in the desert.
I was up at the park on Sunday before sunup and got some great pictures. Thanks for letting me know about Monochrome Weekly.
Wishing you a scent-sational day!
