My only tattoo is a shark that thinks it’s a little fish. Some interesting info there.
Great 13. I played too, hadn’t done so in quite a while.
Actually if it hadn’t been for you I never would have found the new Thursday-13 site.
Waving at you wildly from New York
I love my tats and my tattoo artist! If only you lived closer I’d totally visit :-) Those butterflies are beautiful.
Speaking of butterflies…did I ever tell you the story of my first time to a tattoo parlor?
Considering what all my skin had done in a lifetime, I’m glad i didn’t get any tattoos. I don’t like the way they look with wrinkles.
I love my tattoo, but I had wanted it for years and didn’t get one until I was 27. It’s very simple, although a little hard to cover.
The butterflies are gorgeous!
i love love love the butterflies!!!!
and yes, i do believe i have a photo of my faerie in my archives somewhere. if not, i’ll take a new one. will post soon for you to see. :)
Those your butterflies?
Love this. Not really a butterfly kinda gal, but those are reallll nice. I have two tatts right now. If I had the extra cash I’d have many, many more. Hoping to get a new one this summer. I’m pretty picky about the artist behind the tatt. My artist moved a few hours away and I will travel the distance to get my next one.
Happy T13!

I have a low threshold for physical pain…so I probably won’t ever get a tattoo. But I do appreciate the art behind some tattoos.
What beautiful butterflies!
The butterflies rock. The colors are absolutely fab.
But… what happens if someone’s allergic to the reds and yellows? Is it a disaster or does it pass?
Thank you so much to everyone who commented and loved my butterflies! All of them are actual butterflies and moths with true-to-nature color… all but one. Can you guess which? (I’m a dork. I shoulda thought to put that in the post. Hee hee)
Susan:
Good question and I wish I could give you a simple answer. Although allergic reaction to tattoo pigment is rare, the form it takes spans a wide range of reactions and treatments. Perhaps fodder for a post… :-)
Hello,
you said to contact you for one in a lifetime tattoo. I am thinking about taking a tattoo now for a couple of years. And i am thinking about a buttefly tattoo because they have nice shapes and colours. But how do i pick the right one? There are so many tattoos of butterflies.
