Interesting. I’d never heard of witches’ bottles before. Happy TT!
Yeah! A use for broken light bulbs!
I don’t know what a witches bottle is and why razor blades and nails would go in it. You learn something new everyday, they say.
I know this isn’t the point, but I love the picture that #3 makes! happpy TT, Thorn!! :)
Thornes, but of course!
I need to learn more about this whole witches’ bottles thing. I’d never heard of them before now.
I keep swearing, and I mean it more each time, I’m going to create a witch character who’ll be accurate and who will rock.
An interesting selection – to ward off all manner of calamities, physical and psychical.
Of course I’m leaning towards the Herbs Rocks thorns and Pixie Dust, but I’d rather you choose for me.
Peace
I had never heard of witches bottles before either. Sounds interesting. Thanks for linking to your earlier post of it.
I like your concept of the witch. When I’m ready, we’ll have some fun with her. If she sings the blues, though, and has a blue crescent moon tatted on her hand, what color is her hair? I’m thinking chestnut brown, glistening red in the sun.
What say you?
Hmmm – would drinking a Rusty Nail out of the bottle first before filling it with actual rusty nails make the effect more powerful in keeping those mean people away? Because that sounds like fun to me.
I’ll pick Thornes any day of the week!
This is interesting. Must they be placed in a specific order? How can you tell if it’s working?
That might work, Molly! But please don’t drink the rusty nails after filling the bottle… especially if you follow the instructions in the first article for serious need! Hehehe
Yyam, It will work, and you will know it. :-)
All you smarties who picked Thornes sure know good magick when you see it! Bwahahaha…
