"Whoooo are you?", The caterpillar asked Alice.
"Why, I'm not quite sure at the moment, Sir. You see, I knew who I was when I got up this morning, but I must have changed a thousand times since then."

Before you buy a companion parrot please understand that only 10% of your bird is pretty. The other 90% is noisy, messy, moody, jealous and downright painful at times. Before you spend big bucks on that 10% pretty, make sure you understand the 90% you get for free!!

That’s an interesting list. I will always use recycled paper whenever I can, because it contributes to one less tree being destroyed. And paper bags rater than plastic because they will degrade eventually, and brown paper bags can always be used to wrap packages (very useful for eBay!). One thing I pay no attention to is aviation emissions. They come to less than 2% of the total man-made carbon emissions. The biggest source remains the production of electricity, and while we have coal fired power stations coming on line every week in China and India, deciding not to take a flight from A to B (in a plane that is going to fly anyway) is just a gesture, that does no good to anyone or anything, least of all the planet.
Some of those I had heard before, but I was very surprised that both the plastic and the paper bags were equally bad for the carbon emissions. I’ve been bringing my own tote bags for about 2 years now to stores and actually, it’s nicer. The bags don’t rip and tear while you’re trying to get your groceries in the house! Everybody should do it!
