I’m making a slight departure from Tarot Cards this Tuesday. These are my “Angel Cards”. Now, if you’re thinkin’ that you never pegged Thornie as an angel kinda gal, you’re absolutely right. I’m not. My kind of angels are maybe Avenging Michael with his holy fire and mighty sword and Lucifer Lightbringer with his wholesome hedonism. Haha!
But somehow these cards are different. They hold a special place in my heart and my life because they were given to me by a true heart-friend many and many years ago. I think they are at least 15 years old. If you look close, you can see that they are beginning to yellow a bit around the edges. I do think they’re pretty adorable. Those lil angels doing their thang…
My friend gave them to me because she knew me well. She knew that I am often too complicated for my own good. That I sometimes get stuck in my head, chasing ideas around and that I tend to be overly analytical.
Sometimes a just a single word or two is exactly what I need to give some insight and help me get or stay on track. Sometimes what I need is a little
KISS
(Keep It Simple, Stupid!)
I’ve written a lot about using Tarot as a meditation over at The Eclectic Witch in my Tuesday Tarot series there and if you have read those posts you know that I like to pull a card or two and live with it for awhile to explore what it has to tell me.
I pulled these 2 cards about two weeks ago. They are still inspiring me every day. As long as they do, I won’t pull any more.
That’s it for Tarot Tuesday in Thornesworld! Head over to chameleon’s place and see what others are doing with Tarot today!!!

Purpose and Creativity – what a powerful combination! I suspect that you won’t need to pull new cards for a very long time.
These 2 are keeping me on track! I’m loving it!!
You won’t believe it, but my blog post today was going to be called “Keep it simple stupid!” – LOL! It is amazing how we are focused on the same things at the same times – witch connection!
I also had that angel deck, also given by a friend, but mine passed onto another friend – as you, I’m not really an angel witch, but I do have a angel deck by Barbara Walters that I love. Maybe today’s post should feature angels too:)
