Am I the only person who has always (and still does) think of Bert and Ernie as BROTHERS not LOVERS?
Oh well….
I like #2
love that you did this :-)
Thanks, janet! xoxo!
Hahaha! Don’t feel bad. I always kinda thought they were just old bachelors, like Felix and Oscar the Odd Couple. I just couldn’t resist the graphic; it’s too cute!
thanks for the buttons. i am off to put one in my sidebar. happy tt!
Darn, I can’t read #10
A post with an excellent message. Well done.
A goodly selection… and I thank Goodness that in Canada, this issue has been resolved properly and NO ONE better try to take those rights away… (I doubt they would… but still.)
Great post ;0)
Bert’s lovely ring had me snorting interesting things out my nose… Excuse me while I clean up.
I totally want to post one of these, but I’m trying to stay as apolitical as possible, lest I piss off someone who might otherwise buy a book. Maybe I ought to take the plunge. If you’re offended by love, you’ll be offended by sex, drugs, and rock and roll, right?
Oh, wonderful. I love this. Now I’m undecided between # 12 and #14. Oh, what the heck, I’ll just use both. After all #14 can be used for all sorts of issues. They’ll be up on my blog in a few minutes… Happy TT! Rikki
BTW, I never liked Sesame Street. Maybe I should encourage my kids to watch it after all?!
It’s great that you’ve done this! I’ve taken three of those to use.
My favorite is the Ernie & Bert one – but Andy seemed conflicted by that one – he started off by telling me they are Asexual – but then went through the facts that they lived together, never were seen with female puppets, and may have taken baths together. Heehee!
Yay, jehara!! I’m glad you found one you like!
Oh darn! it’s a good one, too. Let me see if I can fix it.
Yay for the Canadian green bus man and all the happy married queers in Candada!!! It gives us hope!
Tough stuff, Susan! Bless your rock and roll heart & soul!! Check out my good friend Shelly’s post on the same kind of issue, which actually inspired me to the posts Stand By Me, and I’ll Stand By You, and which seems to have culminated with this very post! Hehe. You’re in good company, gal!
Coolness, Nicholas! Hey, why’d you skip my TT for this week at The Eclectic Witch on 13 Love Spells ? There is at least one there that you might like…. hehehe. Head over and try to guess which one? You did visit last week’s 13 household items for Divination . You’re so funny! Divination’s the real deal, hon. (Fortunetelling is just a great google keyword that works). The coat hanger divination, for instance, is just a modern version of dowsing. Are you familiar with dowsing for water? Check it out. You might just be surprised. :)
Yay, Andy!! Oh that’s funny. One of my daughter’s favorite stories when she was about 2 years old was called “Bert’s Bath”. I used to do killer Bert and Ernie imitations while reading it.
The Ernie and Bert one’s great (and to think that at one time I thought Bert was evil).
These are all great.
Interesting place you have here. Lots of fun stuff…
I don’t know how I missed this the first time – but I’ve snagged some and posted the link in my fb.
PS I miss you!
